beaded chain styles

closed loop

  1. Start with one end of the wire. String a crimp bead, then a jump ring. String the end back into the crimp bead. Tighten the loop and crimp.
  2. String your beads!

3. At the end of your wire, repeat step 1– you may skip the jump bead for now if it’s easier, and add it on when your crimp is secure.

4. With both ends on jump rings, attach to your swivel claw.

All done!

double strand

  1. Pull your wire through a crimp bead and jump ring. Pull the crimp bead up so that you have 2 strands.
  2. Choose to make equal length strands or asymmetrical.
  3. Then, crimp your bead.

4. Bead your design.

5. At the end of each strand, add a crimp bead before your final bead.

Note: You can choose to use a pendant-type bead to loop through (like the star), or a smaller bead to hide the end of your wire after crimping. This will leave a little loop of wire at the end.

All done!

fun stuff!

Get some fun shapes and loops by threading the wire back into a bead, or adding a crimp bead somewhere and looping back into it.

You can also cut your wire and add it back as second piece, or as a segment by using a circular/ loop bead and another jump ring.

Have fun!
